About Mike

Mike Anklewicz is an active music educator in Toronto. He has been a member of the faculty at the Royal Conservatory School in Toronto since 2005 and teaching private lessons and group classes within the Royal Conservatory Band program.

Mike has over 20 years of teaching experience in Canada, the USA and Germany and has taught saxophone and clarinet to people of all ages and all experience levels. From young children to adults, teaching classical music, jazz and klezmer, Mike has the experience to match your needs.

Mike has also taught at a variety of music schools as well as privately. He has been a teaching assistant and saxophone instructor at York University, he has been a course director at the Glenn Gould School division of the Royal Conservatory and has taught for over three years at the Toronto District School Board.

There is no better teacher to help you or your child prepare for a examination as part of the Royal Conservatory Certificate Program. Mike is not only a Royal Conservatory certified teacher but he is also a member of the College of Examiners and has examined for the RCM Certification Program across Canada. Mike also reviewed the 2014 Saxophone Syllabus before it’s publication.
